When You Need It
Wound or Pecking Injury: Separate the injured bird, flush the wound with saline, apply Vetericyn, wrap with gauze and Vetrap, then finish with Blu-Kote once closing. Gloves on the whole time.
Illness or Stress: Mix Sav-A-Chick Electrolytes into fresh water, isolate the bird in a warm quiet space, and monitor for 24–48 hours. Use the syringe to deliver fluids directly if the bird won't drink on its own.
Recovery Support: Administer Nutri-Drench directly to the beak (0.5–1ml via syringe) for weak or lethargic birds. Continue electrolytes through recovery.
When in doubt, call your vet. This kit is designed to stabilize — not replace — professional care.
