Sourwood honey is among the most prized varietals in the world — and ours comes straight from the Appalachian Mountains of Western North Carolina, where native Sourwood trees bloom in the summer heat. The result is a honey unlike any other: buttery and smooth, with notes of caramel, warm spice, and a clean, lingering finish.

Each 2-pound jar is raw, unfiltered, and harvested with care by our bees at Stafford Hill Farms. No shortcuts. No additives. Just exceptional honey from an exceptional source.

Why Sourwood?

Sourwood honey can only be produced where native Sourwood trees grow — almost exclusively in the Appalachian Mountains. Our bees forage these trees during a narrow summer bloom window, producing a honey with a flavor profile you simply can't replicate: buttery and smooth, with notes of caramel, warm spice, anise, and a clean, lingering finish that sets it apart from every other honey on the shelf.

Unlike mass-market honey, ours is raw, unfiltered, and small-batch — harvested once a year from our farm in Western North Carolina. No blending. No additives. No shortcuts. Just exceptional honey from an exceptional place. The 2 lb jar is our best value for true honey lovers and anyone who doesn't want to run out.

Seasonal availability only. Sourwood trees bloom once a year, and our harvest is limited. When it's gone, it's gone until next season.

Farm-harvested. Small-batch. Shipped straight to your door.
